Group 1: Should College Athletes be paid? By Andrew, Francisco and Ivan

+        Good background information

+        Good connection related it back to self and Johnny Manziel.

+        Good arguments for why athletes should get paid – talked about the way things work as for academics.

-   Sometimes read off of slide

+        Good arguments for and against athletes getting paid

+        When it came down to arguing the points – everyone spoke about it.

+        Good multimodal aspects to presentation with Shabazz interview to back up what you were saying about getting compensation money for food.

+        Liked the idea about not getting paid but getting food and nutrition instead.

+        Good arguments compared to the other groups presentation on the same topic.

How did you guys feel about doing the same topic as the other group?

Group 2: Violent Video Games by Pavel, David, and Forrest

+        Liked the use of multimodality aspect in your presentation with the video/interview, charts and diagram

+        Had a lot of different types of research to back up what you were saying.

+        Good arguments for both sides

+        Like how they verbally cited their sources in their presentation.

-   They had good points for both sides that I forgot what side they were arguing for.
