A person should keep notes where they got the sources, a brief summary of it and the type of source it is to make sure it’s crucial to the assignment or if you want one source over another. In your research it’s important to understand the different kinds of sources such as books, journal articles, databases, websites, government documents, reference works and so on. It’s important to know what type of information you will get out of your sources and how credible it is as well.
